I started Freshly Brewed Intelligence on maternity leave, quitting my job where I was made to feel that being a breastfeeding mother and being a professional were mutually exclusive. It turned out to be the best decision I’ve made and I’m here to prove they’re not.
I have over 16 years of experience across journalism, editorial leadership, marketing, PR and communications and have worked with over 50 Founders over the last two years.
I currently work inside the data centre industry in media and I see firsthand what editors open, what journalists ignore and what buyers engage with (and also what gets binned).
Most communications consultants work from the outside looking in, whereas I work from both sides of the coin simultaneously, which gives me a clear advantage.
I’m also compiling the independent report: The State of Communications in Data Centre and Tech 2026, which is the sector’s first independent research report on how technical companies are getting communications wrong and what the ones getting it right do differently.
I only work with a small number of clients at one time because the work I do requires deep focus. If you’re looking for a content mill or agency that provides volume content, then don’t look here, because I won’t be the right fit for you.
If you’re looking for someone who’ll provide the strategic architecture and tell you the truth about your communications, bring 16 years of technical expertise and genuine sector knowledge to the table, let’s chat.
Outside of Freshly Brewed Intelligence, I’m a mum to a two-year-old who has strong opinions on dinosaurs and an alarming amount of energy, and I have a huge huskita dog and a cat, too. I love reading, I’m writing my own fiction, learning Japanese, and building a business that fits in with my life and being a mum.
Over 16 years across journalism, editorial, marketing and communications.
